AFL NSW/ACT is currently accepting nominations from female athletes interested in attending selection trials for the 2020 Sydney North Female Talent Pathway Academy program

The Academy’s general selection criteria is as follows:
• Born in 2002, 2003 and 2004 – Athletes turning age 16, 17 and 18 in 2020.
• Have strong footballing skills or strong athletic capabilities

The program has a skill development/talent identification focus. Athletes who have a successful program will potentially gain access to the AFLW Under-16 or Under-18 AFL NSW/ACT team following the Academy.

Sydney North Female Talent Program Trial Information:
When: Wednesday, October 30th and November 6th
Time: 6pm-8pm (5.30pm arrival)
Where: St Ives Showground, St Ives
What to bring: Water bottle, mouthguard and appropriate training attire Trials will include skills, drills and a modified game.

Program details:
When: Wednesday’s, November 14th – Mid-April 2020 (Excludes Christmas/January)
Time: 6pm-7:30pm Where: St Ives Showground, St Ives

Athlete Levy:
• A GST inclusive levy of $400 will be applicable to successful athletes and covers the cost of uniform including training shirt, jumper and shorts as well as participation in the program
• All athlete levies must be paid in full within 14 days of selection, or the application will be automatically withdrawn.
