All members: AFL season is kicking off!

Thanks to all our families who participated in a successful return to training this week!

It was exciting and heart-warming to see our kids running in the fresh air with a footy (even a bit of rain couldn’t keep us away).

A special thanks to our amazing army of coaches, managers and volunteers who ensured we maintained a safe and clean environment for all. Hand sanitiser and other safety features will become our ‘new normal’ as we go forward.

From today, the AFL has confirmed we can train in groups of up to 20 (rather than 10) – with all other safety measures unchanged for now.

This coming week, the Presidents of the Junior Clubs including ourselves will meet with the AFL to finalise arrangements for the season ahead.

Look out for more updates next week as training and pre-season arrangements will be adjusted.

In the meantime, here’s what you should know:

- Auskick: registration opens 22/6 with first session on Sunday 19/7. Please round up all those restless boys and girls aged 5 – 8 to have some fun with us!

- Please encourage family and friends to sign up for our footy season that will run from mid-July to the end of September. New players are most welcome to try out footy at training during the week. Contact for new player enquiries.

Look out for further updates from your coach or manager next week.

In the meantime, have a great weekend!
