A quick update to share good news on the progress of the Council’s work to repair Acron Oval in time for season 2020.
Christine Ashton took the attached photo at Acron yesterday and you can see the turf has been laid to start improving the ground; the ground is starting to look much better. We will continue to work with the Council into the new year and keep you updated.
Also a call-out to families doing a clean-out at home over the break. If your kids have grown out of yet another pair of footy boots, please hang on to them for the Club.
Another valued volunteer, Sally Wooden, will be collecting unwanted footy boots to donate to Clubs and players elsewhere who are less fortunate than us. Stay tuned for details on how to pass them on to Sally in the new year, but in the meantime, please hang on to them.
